After Ryan and Brielle got engaged at Bowman’s Hill Wildlife Preserve in June, they wanted another session—one where they felt fully prepared for the adventure. Their first shoot took place on a humid, muggy morning, but this time, they chose a crisp fall day for their Poconos adventure. The plan? A hike with breathtaking views and a waterfall.
An unexpected surprise greeted us that October morning—thick fog. We left bright and early, hoping to reach the cliffs at sunrise, but the fog had other plans. It completely obscured the view. What seemed like a challenge quickly became an opportunity, creating an ethereal, dreamlike backdrop for stunning images.
On our way back down, the fog finally began to lift, revealing the landscape we had come for. We took full advantage, capturing a beautiful shot with the now-visible cliffs stretching behind them.
At the base, we followed another trail leading to a waterfall. More hikers filled this spot, but we embraced the energy of the moment. Ryan and Brielle’s love blended effortlessly with the wild, natural beauty around them, perfectly capturing their Poconos engagement.
This session proved the magic of embracing the unexpected. Ryan and Brielle’s adventurous spirit turned every challenge into a moment worth capturing, making their Poconos adventure just as unforgettable as their love story.
